One of my favorite soups is the Crab soup.

This is how I cooked it

Ingredients:

Big Crab,Onion leaves (chopped),Miswa (Boil Noodles),Garlic (dice),Onion (chopped),Fish sauce (patis) ,Water 2 cups, Pepper (1teaspoon). Sautee onion, garlic, crabs with fish sauce in low fire. Make sure you crab is clean. After few min put some water and salt, do not forget the Miswa okay. Enjoy your food.

Sebastian is 7 months old last November 19, 2010. I am making sure that everything were doing find. I have been quite busy for my kids lately because for their everyday needs. In addition, were experiencing a sad moment since my brother in-law past away last Oct 04, 2010. Now Christmas is coming and we celebrate this with love and happiness. Our Play

Last weekend me and my son, with his cousins, all played a game of tug. My playmates back then called the game Tug of War. Anyway, I thought of playing tug with the kids, aged not more than 10 years old, because I noticed they don't have any physical activities especially on their free time. After school, it's either TV or computer. They don't even talk to each other that much, and when they do talk, it usually end up in bickering.

I always compare myself when I was their age; well everyone is telling me that kids these days are really more on techy stuff. They maybe right, but I'm just curious if these kids are willing to try the old games for a change.

When I got the chance to make these lazy kids sweat their hearts out, I jumped right in and told them that we will play a game of tug. They agreed to give it a try and sure enough, they liked it. They want to keep going but they easily get tired, they run out of breath so easily. Well I'm kinda expecting that because they're not really used to pull that hard.

We had to cut the game short because it was getting dark. Before I left them, they asked when will our next game be? I promised them a game the following day. They all came, and were all excited.

I guess kids will always be kids no matter what.

With a capital "F" maybe a Fashion addict or Frustration. Yesterday while strolling in the mall and having a food trip with my hubby, I saw some clothes that made my jaw drop. I felt frustrated because of the way I look and my weight issue. Wondering when will be the time I can wear these kinds of clothes, dress and pants that I love. Here are some of the stuff I spotted.

After giving birth to my second son “ basti ”, I’m never got slimmer, my body keeps getting fatter and my belly bulgier. How can I refuse food that are really not making me any slimmer?One time, I tried to get a no rice diet but I felt dizzy all the time. It's nowhere near easy to do it,and I'm running out of ideas. All I know is that I seem to be stuck and no matter how hard I try, I don’t seem to get anywhere.

When we sleep, we also use up energy but it’s not as much as when we’re awake, but still we lose some of our energy. An average person should sleep for about 8-9 hours a day. With all that time not having to eat anything, our body should really demand something to use up.

Breakfast not only replenishes our body’s energy supply but it also plays a huge part in our hygiene. Yes folks you read it right, hygiene. This is because a person who does not have breakfast is most probably prone to bad breath. So how busy you may be, don’t forget to take a few minutes and have your first meal of the day.

Now a day’s all mothers are freaking out to tiny lousy critters LICE. Some of them thinking that their too clean, fresh. Having illusions that they would not happen to nice and clean people like them.

If your child say’s itchy or start scratching his heads, especially by the nape of his neck or around his ears, check him out immediately. Lice can get through you with sharing your brushes, combs, pillows, towels, or sleep on with the same bed.

One thing lice can’t fly or jump through the air. But they do crawl really fast. And Head lice don’t carry and diseases, their just a nuisance.

Some parents get rid of the critters, they applying too many oils, creams, conditioners and some uses pesticide but not safe.

Preventing lice to transfer to other heads clean and wash all pillow cases, bedding's, towels, as all be infested with lice. Dip all hairbrushes with hot water and vacuum the play area.

The most common treatment for lice pediculicides in the form of permethrin shampoo. Massage the scalp with permrthrin for about 15minutes and rinse thoroughly.

For me the best weapon is COMB or (suyod) because is fine –toothed comb. But even if lice are killed, they stay stuck on your child hair strands. Use your lice comb or remove it with your fingers. And comb every three or four days for two weeks to make sure you have remove all lice.

Taking a shower is a normal part of life we go through every day. Some of us even take a couple or more showers a day. Our weather has been pretty harsh lately and with all the things we have to do every day, it might really be a good idea to visit the shower area more often.

Come to think of it taking a bath is one way of relaxing, away from the busy world, just you, alone enjoying every sprinkle of water from your double shower head. It’s a nice way to escape the crazy world outside your bathroom door.

Just make sure you have everything you need before startin your shower fiesta. Be sure you bring along soap, shampoo, sponge, shower stool, and a nice comfy towel. While you’re at it, grab one of those floral bath towels. It sure will be a stylish way of capping up your day.

But before you step out the bathroom, make sure you did not leave the water dripping. Don’t forget to bring your dirty clothes out, and check if the room is clean enough, so the next person to use the bathroom will also have a great time using it.

Stress is our body's natural way of coping with sudden changes in our environment. In many ways,stress,contrary to its negative connotations, is good for us. It keeps us on our toes, makes our minds alert, and actives our brains to think fast in response to a possible threat or danger.

Mental and Biological Effects
A person under stress may develop assorted symptoms such as ulcers, asthma, and palpitation. It can also affect the hormones and alter the immune system, which can make a person susceptible to respiratory diseases. Other mental symptoms include tension, irritability , an inability to concentrate, excessive fatigue and trouble sleeping..
Source of stress can come from anywhere and everywhere. Unwashed dishes, early morning traffic, deadlines of works, rocky relationship.

Stress can either be overcome or it can reach a point where can be worse. Stress can be fatal if the person coping a mechanism is problematic, trauma. When this happens a therapy may be needed. This is usually a sign that a doctor help.

We should understand that it’s difficult to be a caregiver, imagine how hard it would be like if you are the one with a handicap. NMEDA makes it easier for our friends to enjoy driving better just like we enjoy our road trips. Let’s try putting our feet in other’s shoes once in a while to better understand how other’s live their lives and to learn more on how we can help to make others live a better life.

Being the youngest in the family I have my own way of expressing how I feel and ways to bond with my sisters. Sometimes I ask my sis to go to my house for dinner. Me and my hubby always love company, we make sure that our guests are happy and they have a good dose of laughter every time they come to visit.This makes us even closer with each other.

Chatting about our eldest bro's daily activities, as well as his love life, about having a mistress and things about it, nice way to start a conversation...

Mostly we talk about our problems and everyone related to us, about household and raising children. Most important is our relationship with our husbands. Is any 3rd party involved? Are we happy in our Marriage ?

But sometimes I admit that it's not really that necessary to talk about all of those things, but sometimes some of us try to hide what's really going on, pretending to have a successful marriage, good children and financially stable. I guess sometimes you have to spill little white lies just to save others of more problems.

After 11 yrs of waiting , at last is coming soon. 45 days on counting for my CS delivery and excited to collect baby stuff. Some of the baby clothes are gift and I bought it. My hubby are more excited than me on buying some feeding bottles and sacks.

My scheduled date for SC delivery is on April 25,2010 and my coming baby is Boy.

His name Archer Thomas, Khyler we don't know which one is nice and strong name for my baby boy.

I thank god for giving me the life and trials last 2009. For me I’ve been blessed for all time for giving me a good husband, son, in laws and friends, family. The year 2009 have been the most hard and sorrowful mystery in my life. There’s the time that we’ve been financially down. Our entire source gets slowdown. 2009 gives me also the worst heart ached in my entire life, the betrayals of my husband. I felt lonely and mad .I tried to commit suicide then but all of a sudden I realize that what will happen with my 10 year old son if it gone. After a month’s god gave us another chance to forgive and forget. He sends me a baby and I’m 2 months pregnant that time. I told myself that this is the start to a new life and family. But too sad to say, the baby is gone they have to get an early abortion because too much bleeding. It’s been a nightmare to me all the time. Another sad story is my mother past away and my grandmother. Now I’m thinking that I’m alone to face the world and fight in coming year. I’ve learned a lot with all this year. 2010 still a numbers for me. What would happen this year for us? We’re hoping to be good and healthy, giving birth again soon with a baby boy. Hoping there is a good opportunity abroad waiting for us. Hope that place has a new start to my family.

My hubby's newest culinary creation. Siopao! or Chinese hot buns with pork filling. He challenged himself to make some when he saw it on you tube. His first try didn't quite look good, but that never discouraged him to make good siopao. He finally got it right on his 3rd attempt. They tasted good and looked good as well. My son obviously loves them, that's his second bun by the way.

When was the last time you heard a familiar love song and all of a sudden your husband or wife pops up in your mind, the last time you felt so excited to tell your spouse stories from work or constantly remind him or her of a weekend movie date. A simple kiss goodnight or a wake up hug may not be the first thing in your mind when you're married for 10 years or so. Looking back in our girlfriend/boyfriend years, when a kiss tasted so sweet and a hug felt like forever, it seems like most couples have drifted far away from passion and excitement. Marrying someone only seals the deal. Nothing should change except for the wife's last name, nothing more. We take good care of our relationship before marriage because we know that it can all be over anytime someone screws up. We're so afraid to make mistakes because it might lead to a break up and so a simple fight is really avoided. We always make sure to talk things over and we make extra effort to work things out. If we think all of these things now that we're married, it's so easy to settle any differences with our partners. Kisses will surely be sweeter and hugs will definitely feel like heaven. Don't think too much about the marriage part, you and your spouse have been together way before you got into this marriage thing anyway. Don't let a piece of paper change the way you and your husband/wife talk or how you look at each other. Think of your wife as your girlfriend and your husband as your boyfriend. Bring back the mystery and the fear of losing him/her should not be forgotten. Try to understand one another and make extra effort to have quality time with each other. Once you consider all these things, you'll surely be on your way to a Happily Ever After story.

One of the most rewarding things for me in life is to be able to travel and learn about other culture in the process. I must admit, the world is a huge place to roam and the best way to appreciate it is by understanding the people living in every country we are planning to visit. But learning every language may seem impossible, and the best way we can all understand one another is by speaking a common language.

The English language may be the most common and probably the easiest language we can learn. Most of us, if not all, have started to learn about the English language way back in our early school years. Most schools teach Basic English to kids while still in their preliminary years. While others may not have the knowledge to speak English fluently, most of us can understand the language.

But how about other countries who have not introduced the English language to children through the school system? I feel that these people who cannot speak and even understand Basic English have been deprived to a wider relationship from people outside their country which may affect their lives greatly.

Then my mom died last year. She is a Nasal Cancer patient and she 's being treated only 8 months a with operation, Chemo and Cobalt Therapy. Then May 13, 2008 she past away. Hope their are happy together

When I was a kid, my dad made sure we did our homework right after we got home from school. Dinner usually follow and after that, most probably we'd be in our PJs ready for bed. We barely had time to play or even stay up late watching TV on school nights. It's a big difference now with kids these days. After school is " video game till you drop" time. With all the gadgets readily available, they are easily distracted. Game consoles, portable games and cellphones are just a few of the things kids would rather be busy on instead of homework or projects. Maybe I can never get used to see 8- year old kids with cellphones or 10- yr olds with laptops. Isn't that a bit too soon for their age? Sure many of you loving parents can afford to buy all these things to your kids, but if we give them unecessary things, we are in a sense, teaching them negative values. Yes we want our kids to be intelligent, updated with the latest technologies the world can offer. We want nothing but the best for them, the best that we can possibly give. There's nothing wrong with keeping up with technology, but we should never forget that a child always needs guidance. Although there are a lot of smart kids out there who are really out of the chart intelligent, they are still kids. And I think we have to share to them what we learned from our parents. Basic values and virtues like discipline is, for me, a must in a every child if we really want them to succeed in life.

Most jobs have their usual lunch breaks while others have their usual tea time. I guess most of you feel a bit sleepy after having lunch at work and might wanna have a bit of a shut eye during your lunch break. You may have tried to just lay back on one chair and place your feet on another chair just so you can be comfortable while resting after lunch. The break we have here is anything but usual. Since it's a night shift, workers here are given about 30-45 mins of nap time when the clock strikes 12; midnight that is. And we won't have to worry about pulling other chairs to be comfy.

It deters children from anti-social behavior, delinquency and drug and alcohol use. And good parenting is parenting that protect children against the development of anxiety, depression, eating disorders and other types of psychological distress. All of these traits should be taken into consideration when dealing with our kids, We have a lot of work to do if we want to keep up with our children's growth, physically, emotionally and mentally. There is no more important job in any society than raising children, and there is no more important influence on how children develop than their parents. So who is up for the challenge?

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Ingredient

½ k lean ground Pork

3pc. Onions chopped

1 medium size carrots dice

1 tsp ground pepper

1 tsp salt

2 eggs

2 tbsp

25 grams tomato souse

½ cup sugar

Cooking oil

1 cup water

Combine all ingredients except tomato souse, sugar. Get a small amount of ground pork and make it round and fried. Sauté’ the onions and tomato souse, sugar and water. Put the meatballs and simmer in 5 min. serve it until hot.

My nephew’s baptism is nearly coming soon, but I don’t have any idea what gift to buy for him. So I ask my hubby for some tips on what to buy but I want it to be something useful for my nephew whose 3 months old. Then he said why not surf the net and browse some sites for gift ideas for the baptism. When I saw a Train Quilted Toddler Backpack knew it had to be the one. It’s so cute, adorable and colorful. Trees have Life! This is obviously the message that people who drew images of persons on these trees are trying to get across. Our town is currently undergoing road widening projects all over, but to accomplish this, trees have to be cut down. Some say progress have certain sacrifices, and this is a great example. These trees have been here for a very long time. I remember the first time I had the chance to take this route, I was amazed of the trees with their branches meeting in the middle giving shade to all who pass. Some trees have already been cut and I've been lucky to take pictures of some of them while they are still standing. Maybe a few days from now, we won't see a single tree by these roads again. How sad.
