Search, Shop and Travel

It’s always nice to take a break from the busy sights of the city. The everyday bustling streets from house to your work area can be at times stressful. Well everybody needs a break at one point in their life. Now that the holidays are on it’s way, there’s no better time to have your break . Kids will have their school vacation so you’ll have lots of time to enjoy the wild. Yes, the beautiful and relaxing nature.

So pack those bags and head on to your adventure.

Don’t forget to bring all essential things along. If you’re planning on conquering those mountains, then a camping and hiking trip is for you, but you better have those hiking boots ready. Sleeping bags and tents will also come in handy so you can have a good night sleep even when you’re away from your cozy bed at home.

Taking a trip on the great outdoors is always a fun and exciting thing to do. But we must always remember to respect nature as we pass along. Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints. Enjoy.

Hassle-free Car Repair Estimate

Anybody who has a car can say that the worst thing about cars is no doubt, the repairs. Having to take your car to a shop for repair is one thing; well actually that’s the easy part. Before you can take your broken car to a shop, you have to go through the painful stage of the repair estimate. Owning a car means dealing with a belt change, an oil leak or a brake job. Whatever kind of repair there is, you must first have it estimated before you give it a go. It’s like shopping; the best way to grab a great deal is by checking every product and comparing each one.

You may own an old pick-up truck or a pimped up Chevrolet Silverado; whatever you drive it will, sooner or later, make its way to a shop. Dallas auto repair might be a good one to check out. So you better be ready anytime. Don’t worry; it’s all but natural to visit a repair shop if you’re into cars.

Spending a lot in repairs is really heart breaking, but if you know where to go or what to look for, you’ll sure to knock a good deal for you and your car.

The Natural Way

Our body endures a lot in a day. Pollution, stress and unhealthy food are only three of the things we face each day. I have to admit, I am guilty, guilty of subjecting my body to one of these things that could easily affect my health. Taking vitamins will help strengthen our immune system. But the question is, what kind should we take?

Risking our health in the daily danger we have to face is bad enough. Taking chances on vitamins is too much. Our friends at the Herbalife International can help us secure a healthy way of living. They have Herbalife Distributor that can make a customized program for you. This way, it will be more efficient and all the more effective.

Most of us take time pampering our skin, our hair and we invest quite a lot in make-up and of course, clothes. If we make time for all these, we also have to take care of our health. Joining the Herbalife Nutrition Network will do just that.

Road to Recovery

At what point in a person’s life can we say that he probably needs help? Are we in the position to intervene in their lives?

I’m particularly talking about persons who have been hooked on illegal substances and are currently in denial with their situation. First of all, I personally think that the first step to solving this kind of problem is by admitting that you have a problem. With that in mind, you’ll be able to find help which leads to the solution.

Rehabilitation is quite a common word attached to drug-related issues. There are many facilities such as Drug treatment center and Residential drug rehab which offer drug rehabilitation and alcohol rehab.

It’s easier to quit any vice or addiction for that matter if you know you have somebody to help you.

Endless Flow

This was taken high up in the mountains. Water from this contraption never run out. The best thing is that it's free.

Save the Date

It’s not unusual to forget an occasion weeks before an invitation, though it’s sad to think that a friend or a relative is expecting you to show up. Don’t feel bad, it’s not your fault. Anybody forgets sometimes.

Now you can do something about it. No there’s no surgery involved, nor painful treatment to undergo. It’s less excruciating than any of those. All it takes is save the date magnets and you’ll never have to miss any gatherings from then on.

They come in different kinds of designs and sizes that you can choose from. You can even personalize them to make them more intimate. It all depends on the occasion.

Try it. It’s something to remember.

Trust me.

Takipsilim

Probably the creepiest sunset I've ever taken, then again I kinda like it.

Green Furniture in Style

Doing business with nature is always a risky job. Take furniture for example; we need mostly trees to make furniture. But one company is responsible enough to consider and acknowledge Mother Nature as its business partner.

Ashley Furniture founded in 1945 and based in Chicago is currently the largest furniture manufacturing company in America and is truly committed to be the best furniture company in the world. With their stylish and elegant products coupled with the drive for success and eco friendly methods, this company may well be on its way to be just the best.

In 1997 and 2007, they switched to water bases solvents and finishes reducing air emissions by 86%. They also recycle tons of wood, sheet metal and paper, all for the protection of our environment.

Now that’s neat.

Happy as can be

I really don't have to say much. The picture tells everything there is to tell. I wonder if he got the right shoes. Well I think he never has to know, all the same, he's happy as can be.

Train for a Big Paycheck

In these trying times of global crisis, a career check may be quite appropriate for anybody feeling the need for a better and much bigger paycheck to bring home. Bills keep piling up and we have to do something if we want to keep up. If your current paycheck can’t pay the bills or worse, if you were one of the unlucky ones who have been laid off, it may be time to consider other options.

If you ever consider a career change, the first thing you have to do is explore every opportunity and options laid out before you.

There’s a school eager to help everybody who wants to be trained and in turn have a better paying job afterward. This school is no newbie when it comes to training individuals and getting them ready and fit to be heavy equipment operators. Yes, you read that right, that’s heavy equipment. And these guys who offer training to qualified individuals for crane operator careers have been around for 40 years. Now that’s stability.

They offer heavy equipment operator education on a variety of heavy equipment, mobile crane and construction related trucking. They focus on hands-on, career training aspects for equipment operator jobs.

Who knows you might make it big in this industry.

Web Host Search

If you’re in some point in your life wherein you want to involve yourself in a higher level of internet use, you might want to consider using the services provided by Web Hosts.

For those who are interested, here’s a quick overview about web hosting; just to give you an idea on how to start up on things.

Basically there are two kinds of web hosts- shared web hosting and dedicated web hosting, and there are those so called hybrids in between. Each kind has its own pros and cons. It’s better to learn more about each kind of web host and as well as web host providers before getting into any agreement.

But checking out every possible good web host may just well be as tough as visiting every supermarket just to make sure you bought the right groceries. The people on website hosting just made your job a lot easier. They reviewed every web host out there and ranked them accordingly. All you have to do is check out their site and everything you need to know about web hosting is right there. And if ever you want to switch your web host, this is the site for you. Check it out.

SMALL THINGS

Thank you cousin Sylvia for sharing this to me.

Its sad that people dwell on the small

things in there past. Leave it be or you will never

be happy the thing that hurt you will have power

over your every move and thought.

Some people just can not let go, they SHOULD

is only going to eat at them over time.

Making them not trust anyone, Pushing away

the ones that will be there for them. Holding

a sickning grudge, aginst the pain that was inflected

Pain is apart of life, Emotinal, mental and physcial

it is suppose to help you grow into a better, stronger

and wiser person. For some it does not happen that way,

it turns them into a mere child. HOW pathetic, but hopefully

the majority grow, learn and become stronger.

But despite any gift in mind, Christmas cards are still the most intimate items you can give, especially if they are personalized Christmas cards.

Music and Me

This is my son banging on the electric drums with my hubby and my son's cousins, they sure look like they're enjoying the beat of a Korean song. My hubby was in a band in his teens, he used to be a drummer and they joined band competitions. My son told me that he wants to play the drums too just like his dad.

Siopao, anyone?

My hubby's newest culinary creation. Siopao! or Chinese hot buns with pork filling. He challenged himself to make some when he saw it on you tube. His first try didn't quite look good, but that never discouraged him to make good siopao. He finally got it right on his 3rd attempt. They tasted good and looked good as well. My son obviously loves them, that's his second bun by the way.

Welcome To The World Baby Casey!

A Secret To A Happy Marriage

When was the last time you heard a familiar love song and all of a sudden your husband or wife pops up in your mind, the last time you felt so excited to tell your spouse stories from work or constantly remind him or her of a weekend movie date. A simple kiss goodnight or a wake up hug may not be the first thing in your mind when you're married for 10 years or so. Looking back in our girlfriend/boyfriend years, when a kiss tasted so sweet and a hug felt like forever, it seems like most couples have drifted far away from passion and excitement. Marrying someone only seals the deal. Nothing should change except for the wife's last name, nothing more. We take good care of our relationship before marriage because we know that it can all be over anytime someone screws up. We're so afraid to make mistakes because it might lead to a break up and so a simple fight is really avoided. We always make sure to talk things over and we make extra effort to work things out. If we think all of these things now that we're married, it's so easy to settle any differences with our partners. Kisses will surely be sweeter and hugs will definitely feel like heaven. Don't think too much about the marriage part, you and your spouse have been together way before you got into this marriage thing anyway. Don't let a piece of paper change the way you and your husband/wife talk or how you look at each other. Think of your wife as your girlfriend and your husband as your boyfriend. Bring back the mystery and the fear of losing him/her should not be forgotten. Try to understand one another and make extra effort to have quality time with each other. Once you consider all these things, you'll surely be on your way to a Happily Ever After story.

Bloody sky

Some times the sky looks scary because of his colors and shape. Most elderly interpret this kind of structure of the clouds. They say that we will be having bad weather, more on rain and flood when you see this sky. I think they're right. Well as of this moment, most of our fellow Filipinos are still in flooded areas and have lost their houses because of the typhoon Ondoy. This may be the best time to show our deep concern to our brothers and sisters. What do you think?

Oplan Habitat

It's been a long time that this place looks clean and peaceful. And the people our quite following the rules of some officials.
As you can see now people are using the pedestrian lane, just like before they cross the street every time they wanted too.
It is nice and encouraging to all if we continue this good habit of ours, following the laws and rules of our city government.

Bridging the gap

One of the most rewarding things for me in life is to be able to travel and learn about other culture in the process. I must admit, the world is a huge place to roam and the best way to appreciate it is by understanding the people living in every country we are planning to visit. But learning every language may seem impossible, and the best way we can all understand one another is by speaking a common language.

The English language may be the most common and probably the easiest language we can learn. Most of us, if not all, have started to learn about the English language way back in our early school years. Most schools teach Basic English to kids while still in their preliminary years. While others may not have the knowledge to speak English fluently, most of us can understand the language.

But how about other countries who have not introduced the English language to children through the school system? I feel that these people who cannot speak and even understand Basic English have been deprived to a wider relationship from people outside their country which may affect their lives greatly.

That’s where Teach English in Italy step in; and the best thing about this is that you can be a part of it.

Imagine traveling the world, learning, teaching and getting paid all at the same time. It might be too good to be true but it can definitely happen.

We have been truly blessed, despite of the current economic status the whole world experiences and this is a great way of giving back and sharing our blessings to our fellowmen all over the world.

Besides, who doesn’t want a vacation and a job or better yet, your work and your vacation all rolled into one

Gift of Love

God is great because he gave me again a wonderful gift “baby”. I’m 2months pregnant

It’s been 10 years waiting for another baby to come. But my OB doctor advised me to stay at home and rest for some reason.

Hope god is with me until the end.

Make It Personal

Our choices of loots, goodies, gadgets, clothes and personal stuff vary greatly on appearance and looks. A simple something to someone might be a dull nothing to somebody else.

Most of us have yet to find ourselves in things we purchase and invest. Our ‘personal touch’, so to speak.

One company can help you express yourself and not blow up your budget.

I came across it on the net, and I was amazed on the things they offer. They let you choose your design and if ever you did not find something you like, their designers will help you make the design you have in mind. design t-shirts online. How cool is that? They have everything from all sorts of cards, banners, office stuff and t-shirts.

So to know more about it just visit 123print.com and you’ll be on your way.

Blogger's Delight

It's every housewife's dream to earn a bit of cash on the side while being the best mom and wife all at the same time. Doing most of the house chores and attending to my family's needs could really take out almost all of your time in a day. So to have additional activity would seem impossible. Well maybe, but then there's blogging. It's probably the best thing that ever happened to anybody who practically don't have enough time to even think of having those extra cash. All you have to do is register to Linkfromblog sites like blog advertising and you're well on your way. It's so easy and very enjoyable.

Study Habits For Kids

When I was a kid, my dad made sure we did our homework right after we got home from school. Dinner usually follow and after that, most probably we'd be in our PJs ready for bed. We barely had time to play or even stay up late watching TV on school nights. It's a big difference now with kids these days. After school is " video game till you drop" time. With all the gadgets readily available, they are easily distracted. Game consoles, portable games and cellphones are just a few of the things kids would rather be busy on instead of homework or projects. Maybe I can never get used to see 8- year old kids with cellphones or 10- yr olds with laptops. Isn't that a bit too soon for their age? Sure many of you loving parents can afford to buy all these things to your kids, but if we give them unecessary things, we are in a sense, teaching them negative values. Yes we want our kids to be intelligent, updated with the latest technologies the world can offer. We want nothing but the best for them, the best that we can possibly give. There's nothing wrong with keeping up with technology, but we should never forget that a child always needs guidance. Although there are a lot of smart kids out there who are really out of the chart intelligent, they are still kids. And I think we have to share to them what we learned from our parents. Basic values and virtues like discipline is, for me, a must in a every child if we really want them to succeed in life.

Midnight Break

Most jobs have their usual lunch breaks while others have their usual tea time. I guess most of you feel a bit sleepy after having lunch at work and might wanna have a bit of a shut eye during your lunch break. You may have tried to just lay back on one chair and place your feet on another chair just so you can be comfortable while resting after lunch. The break we have here is anything but usual. Since it's a night shift, workers here are given about 30-45 mins of nap time when the clock strikes 12; midnight that is. And we won't have to worry about pulling other chairs to be comfy.

Perfect Parenting

Is there such a thing? I've been a parent for more than 10 years now and I am still searching for the best parenting strategies and tips from books, magazines, TV and from other parents as well. There's a common goal, and that is to raise our children in the best possible way we know how. So how do we know we're doing it right? Is there a standard way of doing it, or should we just follow our instincts and deal with every situation as it comes? Well I think we should have guidelines to follow and rules to set. Being consistent makes our intentions more solid and our children can relate with the rules better if we have consistency. So we can safely say that even though there may not be Perfect Parenting, there is such a thing as Good Parenting. I've read somewhere that good parenting is parenting that fosters psychological adjustment- elements like honesty, empathy, self-reliance, kindness, cooperation, self-control and cheerfulness. Good parenting is parenting that helps children succeed in school. It promotes the development of intellectual curiosity, motivation to learn and the desire to achieve. It deters children from anti-social behavior, delinquency and drug and alcohol use. And good parenting is parenting that protect children against the development of anxiety, depression, eating disorders and other types of psychological distress. All of these traits should be taken into consideration when dealing with our kids, We have a lot of work to do if we want to keep up with our children's growth, physically, emotionally and mentally. There is no more important job in any society than raising children, and there is no more important influence on how children develop than their parents. So who is up for the challenge?
