From the Heart

All of a sudden and out of the blue

I’m feeling kinda poetic , wanna share it with you

You may call it nostalgic, sentimental may be true

Just have to spill it out, bear with me, please do

It must be joy, but how can it be?

If joy hurt this much, then it may truly be

To hide how I feel is not so easy

when this much happiness I feel inside me

I don’t want to end this story hanging

I really want to explain how I’m feeling

But maybe sometimes words are not enough

To describe what your heart feels can really be tough

if you feel too busy, you are.

	Give yourself permission to be un-busy. Give yourself an hour or a day to simply be. Allow yourself the  luxury of a small retreat. Allow your spirit time to be restored. Even God took a day of rest.

Time and Reason

Five months ago me and my hubby decided to have our second child. Our eldest is 10 years old now and we thought it's about time we gave him a brother or a sister. I guess Ler, my hubby, realized that we're not getting any younger and we really don't plan on making Macoy an only child. Ler always tells me that he doesn't want to see me on a stretcher coming out of the delivery room, looking like what I looked like when I gave birth to Macoy. Maybe that's why it took him ten years to reconsider. Two months ago I tested positive on a pregnancy test. Ler and I were so happy, but we decided to keep it between us just for a while. We were planning on surprising everybody, but sadly my pregnancy was cut short. I started bleeding and my doctor advised me to undergo operation because of some complicated medical reason. It was a sad event in my life but I guess everything happens for a reason and in due time, I hope God will bless me with another child.
