empowerment, and religious piety. She served as the 11th president of the Philippines from 1986 to 1992. She was the first
female President of the Philippines and was
Asia's first female president.
Former Philippines President Corazon Cory Aquino dies at the age of 76 at 03:18 am., 1st of August 2009. She succumed to colon cancer & suffered cardio respiratory arrest at the Makati Medical Center.
