Trees on Protest

Trees have Life! This is obviously the message that people who drew images of persons on these trees are trying to get across. Our town is currently undergoing road widening projects all over, but to accomplish this, trees have to be cut down. Some say progress have certain sacrifices, and this is a great example. These trees have been here for a very long time. I remember the first time I had the chance to take this route, I was amazed of the trees with their branches meeting in the middle giving shade to all who pass. Some trees have already been cut and I've been lucky to take pictures of some of them while they are still standing. Maybe a few days from now, we won't see a single tree by these roads again. How sad.

Hi ate Khaye..:)

nice to be back here sa page mo.
kakamis din kasi

Pinaputol ba nila ang mga puno?
It looks so nice pa naman ng mga puno na yan..with matching paints on them although nga minsan I don't like it when people do that. I mean yung pagpinta..
pero yung sa pic. I think of it as ok. sana naman there will still be some na maiiwan sa mga puno..

Road expansion? ewan lang. Pero if yun rin gna ba naman ang makabubuti.
=(
I have to agree.. How sad.

Hope your having a great week sis.
